Hob Keeble on board ‘Memory’, 1963 Blackwater barge match Bob writes: This was ‘Westmoreland’ off Osea Island – I think. The fleet were turned at Osea pier and sent back out to the Bench Head before returning to Maldon. It was blowing quite hard by then, southerly and the barges covered a fair few miles.
