The schooner ‘Sunbeam’ was built at Exmouth in 1860. She was 79 feet in length and had a tonnage of 84 tons. She traded until January 1904, when she piled up on the Kerry coast at Rossbeigh in a storm without loss of life. Her remains were gradually buried and she was more or less forgotten.
